Arts District Zen Restaurant expresses a quiet intensity through monolithic architectural forms, textured surfaces, and carefully orchestrated lighting. Inspired by Japanese minimalism and executed with industrial materiality, the space offers a contemplative yet theatrical dining experience in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Awarded the 2022 AIA LA Restaurant Design Award, the project reflects a balance between spatial restraint and immersive design.
